Sending our appreciation to Wallingford School for donating us face shields. Thanks to Debbie, Alice and Johnny who have helped with packing the items and delivering them to us.

Easter at Cedar Court has always been a special time. We would normally have a big Easter bonnet contest but due to the current times we have been unable to hold the events, but it didn't stop us from celebrating Easter. 

Community Spirit is certainly living and breathing in the North East.  We received a very kind donation of visors which were made by a local company, TintFit in Washington who custom made and delivered visors to the home for all of the care staff.  Such great community spirit and despit

Here at Earsdon Grange we have been so delighted with all of the lovely community spirit and wanted to say a few thank you's to let them know how very much we appreciate them.

We had a lovely surprise delivery at Astor Court from Clive Taylor who is the son of one of our residents.  He wanted to say thank you for all of the hard work the staff are doing at the home through this strange time whilst also trying to keep life normal for all of our residents.

The residents at Willow Bank enjoyed a cream tea for Mother's day. They made banners to decorate the dining room and made it look special. Residents baked some buns and decorated them and enjoyed scones with jam and clotted cream, the ladies all thought they were delicious.

We had a surprise telephone call today from the lovely people at Tingley, Ardsley & Thorpe Viral Kindness Group. The team make beautiful laundry bags and have kindly donated a bag for each member of staff to put their uniforms in. 

Thank you to the children at Busy Bees Nursery for sending some fabulous drawings to our residents. It has certainly made us all smile and the residents love looking at the wonderful creations. 

A huge thank you to our local Tesco, Slough Community Volunteer Service and One Slough Community Response Team for the donations and delivery of Easter eggs for everyone in the home.

Staff at Windmill Care Centre enjoyed a welcome break of delicious homemade cake along with a calming cup of tea thanks to the generosity of one of our local neighbours. This lovely treat was dropped off on Friday to thank everyone for all their hard work and care at this busy time.

Residents at Troutbeck Care Home in Ilkley enjoyed making paper flowers to create an indoor garden area, these proved to be very popular. We used them to make a lovey Easter display that residents could enjoy in the garden room.

Easter at Windmill Court was a special time.  We decorated the home, made and sent cards to family and friends and of course enjoyed plenty of chocolate eggs and hot cross buns.

Cedar Court Care Home in Cranleigh had it's second interactive concert of the year in March from their young friends at the Royal Academy of Music .

Fallibroome Academy High School have made these visors in their technology lab and donated them to Cavendish Court. 

The Buckingham House team want to show their support for all the essential workers and the NHS.

Lots of lovely home made fancy buns all ready for our tea party this afternoon at The Belvedere Care Home. Everyone is looking forward to enjoying one with a cuppa.

Staff and residents had a brilliant afternoon at Troutbeck Care Home when they held an Alice in Wonderland themed Tea Party.  Some of the staff wore fancy dress and we had a fabulous Cheshire cat cake made by our talented activities lady.

Rosedale Care Home in Catterick Garrison have been looking at new ideas of things to do in the home during this period of lockdown and one of the great ideas we had was to hold a weekly coffee morning. We held our first one in March and our residents had a fabulous time.  We started off

Thank you so much to Brookside Garden Centre for donating all these gorgeous flowers for our residents at Hope Green. This has really cheered everyone up and lifted everyone's spirits

At Carmel Lodge we are really getting into the swing of things for April. Starting with our Easter celebrations baking chocolate Easter nests and an Easter egg hunt. More to the end of April we will be planting our cress and having a wine and cheese tasting afternoon.
