Moving into a care home can be daunting

Rest assured, our care team are here to make sure that making the move is as easy as possible for you and your loved one. If you still need reassurance, here are some stories from our residents, their families and our care team.

"It was a great day of activities for Bastille day, in the morning we had lots of French toast followed by learning basic words in French and also reciting the numbers 1-20. Everyone had a great experience and really enjoyed the day.

Continuing on with our Around the World theme we celebrated Europe this week.

We had activities including making Belgian chocolates, make your own Italian pizza, French wine and cheese afternoon, Spanish tile making and European flag canvas painting.

Our beautiful memory garden at Croft House is work in progress and is looking great. Residents will enjoy sitting, relaxing and looking at the different flowers and colours.

We celebrated Charles Wardle's 100th Birthday at The Belvedere in July.

The rain didn't stop us celebrating our centenarians birthday with cake to hand and bubbles flowing, we all enjoyed the entertainment.

It was World Chocolate Day and we indulged in over twenty different varieties of chocolate tasting, served with a mixture of herbal teas. Residents loved the social afternoon and the theme linked songs and some requests along the way. A great afternoon for all.
