About working in Lifestyle and Hospitality
There is a broad range of roles at MMCG within Lifestyle and Hospitality. People who work in the Lifestyle and Hospitality team at MMCG must have a genuine interest in working in a care environment, have an understanding of and empathy with older people and be able to take a lead where needed and also be a team player.
About your training and development
Certifications will be relevant to the role, however, roles such as a cook or chef must hold an Intermediate Food Hygiene Certificate and have an understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2008. They will also show a willingness to participate in continuous improvement and vocational training programmes.
Roles such as a Lifestyle Co-ordinator, will include full training so we’d also love to hear from you whatever your background. It's just as important is that you’re organised, have great communication skills, and that you’re flexible enough to work shifts. We also believe in giving you a great career pathway, so maybe your next step might be Nurse Associate and we are committed to supporting you on your journey.
