Ladies Friendship Day

In September we celebrated ladies friendship day at Barnes Court with an afternoon tea event.

All our ladies were invited to enjoy scones, clotted cream and jam, biscuits and cakes with special drinks.

We talked about the special ladies in our lives and how important friendship is. We exchanged notes that were available on the tables with kind words to each other.

We also wore fascinators in our hair and felt really posh! A lovely afternoon was had by all.

Why not come along to the home and check out our activities programme.

Gold Standard in North Yorkshire Healthier Choices Awards

Good food should be savoured and celebrated.

Belmont House is proud to be one of a few businesses in the area to be accredited with the Gold Standard in North Yorkshire County Council’s ‘healthier choices’ awards, an initiative to recognise those businesses that are providing their customers with healthier eating choices.

To qualify for the award the menu options are judged on their nutritional value and how they ensure the meals are balanced, prepared and cooked in a health-conscious manner without compromising on taste or customer satisfaction.

A table of remembrance was made with a newspaper, ration card and medals from the War.
