Moving into a care home can be daunting

Rest assured, our care team are here to make sure that making the move is as easy as possible for you and your loved one. If you still need reassurance, here are some stories from our residents, their families and our care team.

Our Westbourne residents watched the England and Germany football match on Tuesday evening. There was loads of excitement and flag waving by both ladies and gentlemen, topped of with a splendid buffet supper with a lovely refreshing glass of Sahndy and of course England score a goal.

This week we celebrated National Candy Month 2021 by opening our sweet shop for our residents. We got a few favourite sweets from our childhood days, which were really appreciated and bought back lots of memories.

Everyone here at The Belvedere Care Home celebrated National Cupcake Day for which we raised funds for The Alzheimer's Society. We had some beautiful cakes donated by our care team which were enjoyed with a lovely cup of tea.

Some of our residents and staff at Hope Green are keen football supporters but even those who prefer other sports enjoyed cheering the football teams on. A great way of spending time together and socialise surrounded by flags, bunting and refreshments.

Well done to one of our residents who won our fabulous Father's Day hamper. All money raised has been placed directly into the residents' fund with our plans being to spend it on a day trip out. Happy Father's Day to all Dads!

Residents and staff enjoyed photos in front of the backdrop. In this photo we had 3 bubble machines throwing out bubbles in between the residents. Chef Joey created this fabulous fruit display.
