Thank You Flowers

We have just received these beautiful flowers as a thankyou to all staff. Thank you  to MA for your kind thoughts  form all at Troutbeck.

Belmont House Hand Washing

We all know that hand washing is key at this unprecedented time and Claire our Home Manager made up a little ditty to help us wash our hands.

Sing along to the tune of Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive":

First we were afraid, we were petrified

Kept thinking that this virus would just grind us down

But then we spent so many hours fighting for everybody's lives

That we grew strong and we learned how to carry on

Go on now go, walk out the door

Just keep on going cos we don't want you anymore

We will survive.

We will survive

Clap for Key Workers

Belmont House Care Home on High Street in Starbeck were delighted to be approached by the Stray Ferret to feature in their article about clap for hero’s on a Thursday evening at 8pm. As always we were outside at 8pm clapping for our colleagues, NHS workers and key workers.

Stay Home, Save Lives

Belmont House on High Street, Starbeck wanted to design a banner for the home. The activities team designed the banner and with help from the residents in Promenade Suite this was painted. We have concentrated on the colour blue to support the NHS.

The banner is in pride of place at the front of the home and we have received many compliments for cheering the Community and creating a focal point. We hope you see it next time you drive down High Street and think of us.

Heroes' Welcome

We wanted to say thank you to our amazing team at Buckingham House who come to work every day with a smile on their face.

We have given our reception area a rainbow makeover so our amazing team have a hero's welcome each time they arrive for work. Thank you to you all, you are all fantastic.

Betty's Tea Room Gift

We were delighted to receive an email from one of our past resident's relatives to say they were thinking of us all at Ashfield Court and had arranged for a gift of biscuits and tea bags from Betty's Tea Rooms for all of the staff.

Thank you so much to you all for this truly amazing gift, we are so grateful to you for thinking of us during this time.

Community Spirit at Earsdon Grange

Here at Earsdon Grange we have been so delighted with all of the lovely community spirit and wanted to say thank you to let them know how much we appreciate them.

A big thank you to West Allotment Club for their kind donations of tea, coffee and biscuits for all staff at home and a selection of toiletries for the residents. These are all greatly appreciated and the residents were delighted to receive them from you.

Kind Donation to Windmill Court

Once again we were touched by the generosity of local people thinking of others in these troubled times.

Fee's food in Rock donated 60 slices of delicious homemade cake and our local charity Concern Wadebridge delivered a large selection of Easter eggs to Windmill Court Care Home.

Thank you to everyone who is supporting us, it means so much.

Delicious Cakes from Burton Girls Brigade

We were really thankful to receive this lovely delivery to our home. A local family who are members of Burton Girls Brigade baked some delicious cakes for our residents and staff.  It really brightened our day and we are so touched that they were thinking about us.

Thank you so much.
