Community Spirit

We have been delighted by the community spirit at Allingham House on Stockdean Close, Deansgate Lane, Altrincham and wanted to say a huge thank you for the lovely gifts we have received this past week.

Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts and we hope to see you all soon.

Thank You Medals

There are many ways we can say thank you to our staff but this was extra special. In our arts and crafts session our knitting group made these medals.

All of our staff deserve a medal for the care and dedication that they show to us, not only in these times but everyday.

Words of Thanks

We have had many messages of thanks from friends, family and the local community. Like everyone else we just want to help where we can.

Rossett High School

We were delighted to receive lovely pots of plants from Rossett High School for the home and residents.

They were such a lovely surprise and we can't wait to have those growing in our courtyard.

Thank you to Rossett High School for your lovely gift.

VE Day Comes to Garden Hill

VE Day may seem like a long time ago now but the residents at Garden Hill Care Home are still talking about it.  We are so lucky to have such a huge garden at the home so we had a singer come along to sing for us and we sat outside and in the conservatory to enjoy the celebrations.

We then had a gorgeous treat of high tea in the afternoon. The residents all have so many memories from that time which they were happy to share with all of the staff.

Buckingham House Rocks

Buckingham House Care Home in Gerrards Cross has been overwhelmed by the kindness shown by local people during the COVID-19 crisis. During this time the home has been touched by the messages of support and gifts from local people  As a way of thanking the community and hopefully putting a smile on the face of anyone who finds them, the residents of the home have been painting rocks and including positive messages and they have been hidden around Gerrards Cross.

Community Generosity

May has been another month of community generosity and Earsdon Grange received some gorgeous cakes and cookies from Bakes by KH based in Whitley Bay. We can certainly say they tasted delicious and went down well with a cup of tea. Thank you so much.

We also received some lovely gifts from J&B Recycling who came by to drop off a selection of goodies.  Such a wonderful surprise and we are very grateful you took the time to pop by with these.

Thank you to you all.
