Mother's Day at Astor Court
We have celebrated Mothers/Mams/Mums with lots of conversations, some brought laughter and others tears, but it was so lovely to be able to provoke such good memories of our mums, those special ladies who made our childhood great. This was displayed in the lodge, with quotes from our lovely residents, things such as "I had what I'd call a real Mam" or she always smelt of talc were some of the memories. Other memories were a little more emotional as one of our residents never remembers her own mother, as she passed when she was young, but has so many special memories with her dad.

Virtual Coffee Morning
Some of our ladies joined a virtual coffee morning and thoroughly enjoyed seeing and listening/speaking to other people outside of our home. What a lovely way to connect with the community! Thank you to Wendy from St Mary's Parish Church, Disley for hosting a really enjoyable event.
Mother's Day at Allingham
Mother's Day was a very special day at Allingham House , the residents could speak with their families by phones and videocalls meanwhile received cards and presents from them.
Mother's Day at Manorhey
Mothering Sunday at Manorhey was lovely, we enjoyed an afternoon tea with cakes, sandwiches and scones with cream and jam and tea served in china. All mums here and including Grandmas received beautiful cards, gifts and flowers which really did make their day special.
Mother's Day Celebrations
Mother's Day was an absolute delight for our 'Mums' here at Wyndham Hall, flowers and cards galore and our residents loved every minute of the day.
Mother's Day Raffle
