Alexandra Court's Hawaiian themed party
We had a Hawaiian themed party at the home. The people living with us enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch, a raffle and Roger came to entertain us all. We had so much fun and had a brilliant day overall.
Acorn House awards ceremony
At Acorn House we had our very own awards ceremony to show appreciation to all staff members within the home. The people living with us spent the previous month voting for staff members ensuring everybody got a certificate of appreciation and a small gift. Our lovely Eileen was more than happy to help present our awards with the manager.
We also had entertainment from the wonderful singer Louis Devere, everyone had a fantastic time singing and dancing along. It was a fantastic day.

Baking our own scones
Wyndham Hall made some delicious homemade scones, which the people living with us then enjoyed later with some clotted cream and jam. It was a fun activity and they tasted great. Baking therapy at its finest.
Pet therapy and entertainment at Kingsbury Court
Entertainment and pet therapy going hand in hand. Then we finished our day with some cheese and wine.
What a delight it was when our entertainer brought in his own pet for the people that live with us. Everyone enjoyed listening to his music, and of course stroking his dog.

Jam Making
The people living with us enjoyed making their own jam. We used our own home grown plums as part of the recipe. We like to do this every year as it is a fun activity - and we get our own delicious jam at the end of it!

Trip to the Town Gardens
This morning we decided to go on our Town Gardens Walk despite the weather looking as if it was going to rain. It turned out to be such a lovely walk! We even managed to listen to a band performing at the Band Stand.
Windsor Court's Intergenerational Play Group
Windsor Court Care Home launched their first Intergenerational Play Group this week, Generations With Imaginations, with Kirsten from Debutots Worcestershire.
It was so wonderful to see the children and residents interact, play and learn together, just look at the glow on the faces of everyone.
Children’s play changes when it is intergenerational and research shows that children display higher levels of language and problem solving skills when they have lots of contact with adults.
Appletree Court's Culture Day
Appletree Court Care Home had a their very own culture day...
Everyone living and working at Appletree Court enjoyed a variety of dishes and snacks from different cultures within their community to taste and enjoy.
The day was filled with scrumptious food and fun exploring and celebrating other cultures, it was a fantastic time for everyone who got involved!
Claremont supports their local food bank
Being based in the The Strand Community Centre, we see the amazing work that the local food bank does for the community and we as an organisation wanted to support them with a much-needed donation. We also wanted to say a specific thank you to Marie, not only for all her hard work but for her friendship to us since starting at the Strand.
Kingsbury Court's trip to the seaside
In response to our residents wishes, our care home embarked on a remarkable journey to the seaside. With the full support of our dedicated team, we made it happen! 🌟
Despite the travel time of over an hour, the joy and happiness on our residents' faces made every minute worth it. This seaside adventure not only brought smiles but also had a significant impact on their overall wellbeing. 🏖️❤️
