A Week At Allingham

The residents enjoyed the last week having special activities to celebrate Chinese New Year, they were decorating the home with dragon bunting and also created beautiful illustrations that have been displayed around the home.

We know how important it is to keep in touch with the different community groups. The residents enjoyed singing songs with the children from the nursery next door in the garden.

On Saturday the residents enjoyed our Monthly Golden Threads. We have been collaborating with this community group for more than a year, and the volunteers and the residents enjoy different kinds of activities. This week the residents could play 'Who Am I' with the volunteers. 

Furthermore, for the very first time one of the volunteers performed an online live music session. Steve Patten "The Journeyman" played his guitar Greatest Hits from the 60's. The residents really enjoyed singing and dancing to all the songs.
