Valentine Celebrations

The residents enjoyed last week, plenty of different kinds of activities to celebrate St. Valentine's Day. We started last Monday when the residents enjoyed singing and dancing their favourite songs meanwhile trays with slices of cheese, tomatoes and cucumber were served with crisps, crackers and a selection of red and white wine. 

Next day was the turn of art and craft, the residents showed their artistic skills creating beautiful illustrations that were displayed all around the home.

Wednesday was the baking day, we enjoyed baking heart shaped biscuits, later on these were served with teas and coffees. The residents said the biscuits were delicious.

Finally, we ended the celebrations with a Friday Bistro Dinner, the dining rooms were beautifully decorated and the residents had a very nice dinner served with wine and beer, meanwhile they were socializing and listening to a selection of the 50's and 60's most romantic songs.
