Thank You From Relative

Dear Cavendish Court

I write to thank the staff at Cavendish Court in Alderley Edge.

My Mum has been admitted there because she has COVID, she is 87 years old, she is our lovely, treasured Mum and we want her to get better.

I was lucky enough to be given a placement at Cavendish Court, all be it very late on Friday evening 5th December.  I spoke to Lindsay, the home deputy manager, who reassured me and said "Just bring Mum in, we’ll take care of her".

I took Mum there in her pyjamas, I am also COVID positive, Lindsay came out to greet Mum personally and Lindsay was dressed as a Christmas Elf! How amazing! Lindsay was so kind, respectful and caring. Jordan was on hand to help, also dressed as an elf, and they both very kindly sent a member of staff to run up the road to find us as I had got lost.

All of the staff at Cavendish are so kind and caring, I truly believe this TLC will save my Mum’s life. I honestly feel like I’ve won the lottery to get this placement for Mum!

One of the carers, Vicky, had been assigned to care for Mum. She paid out of her own money to buy Mum a newspaper.

I just want you to know that Lindsay, Jordan and Vicky are angels, as are all of the staff there. The staff are truly taking care of the residents as if they were their own family.

It’s so important that you know what a brilliant job Lindsay and her team are doing.

With very grateful thanks
