Thank You Message

Dear Rachel, 

I wanted to write and say how thankful I and my family are for the wonderful care my grandmother, JW, received towards the end of her life. It was a great comfort to all of us that granny was in a good place with a high standard of care, especially when the pandemic had made the long separation such a prevalent factor in her final year. That mum was able to come in and see her and spend time with her really transformed those final few weeks which could have been deeply distressing. However your administration and logistical organisation of testing and safe visiting meant that neither granny nor mum suffered unnecessarily. There is an inherent dignity in uniting people in love in this way, and I am aware it is not a straight forward process with Covid restrictions in place. So thank you for your diligence and compassion in those final, fragile moments, it helped granny and the whole family to experience a good end to a long life.
