Tate Britain Gallery Visit

A historic trip for the residents of Ashmead.

Today, the people living with us had a special trip to the Tate Britain Gallery. Most of them had never been there before, and we saw amazing artwork by so many famous artists with art ranging from the 1700s to 1970. Tate Britain is known for housing an extensive collection of British art, including works by famous artists such as J.M.W. Turner, William Blake, and Henry Moore. Some rooms were dedicated to certain artists and their famous pieces and there was even a room with immersive projection artwork on the floor. Everyone found it very interesting and enjoyed seeing the different styles. They can't wait to get the paintbrushes out when they get back to Ashmead!
