The Spotlight Theatre Company

The Spotlight Theatre Company is the home of Bridlington Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society (BAODS) and a registered charity. They offer a space for rehearsals and community activities, whilst also live streaming from world famous companies of opera, ballet and drama productions.

The spotlight theatre company kindly donated some of their Mr Moos ice-cream that comes in individual pots for our residents and staff to enjoy. The residents were thrilled with this donation therefore, we decided to enjoy the ice-cream whilst watching a past recording of a theatre production from the Spotlight Theatre through You-tube.

We have newly introduced a new activities co-ordinator here at White Rose Lodge, Katy. Whom has appeared in many past performances with the BAODS. Taking this into consideration we aired a performance of ‘through the ages’ which starred our very own Katy. The residents enjoyed sitting to watch the performance and looking out for Katy within the production whilst enjoying a strawberry or toffee ice-cream and a sing-a-long for our in house afternoon show. The afternoon also offered up with it the chance for reminiscing, as some of our residents spent time visiting the Spotlight Theatre.

On behalf of all the residents and staff here at White Rose Lodge, we would like to take the time to thank the Spotlight Theatre Company for their kind donation. Thank you.
