Salvation Army Christmas Food Banl Appeal
Troutbeck care home in Ilkley has donated items which will contribute to the 2020 Christmas foodbank appeal. Items ranging from Selection boxes, Christmas cakes/puddings and hygiene products.
Charlotte Brynes, Troutbeck care home manager said, “We’re very happy to have been able to help the Salvation Army foodbank at this time of year to try and put a little bit of Christmas back. Generous donations came from families, residents, staff and MMCG head office to enable us to help the local communities. It was good to visit the foodbank and meet Captain Josh Selfe who explained how things were distributed, stored and what would be needed going forward. The Salvation Army food banks need donations all year round especially from the end of the first quarter of the year.
MMCG said “We are pleased to be able to contribute to our communities and offer some assistance during the pandemic .”
