Road Trip to Bath
Our recent road trip took us to Bath and being so close to Box and our trip brought back wonderful memories for our residents as many of them living in or around the area.
We visited The Royal Crescent is a row of 30 terraced houses laid out in the city of Bath. Built between 1767 and 1774. Notable residents Thomas Linley, Isaac Pitman, Richard Brinley Sheridan and many more. It has also been the location for film and television.
Bath Abbey is one of the largest examples of perpendicular gothic architecture in the west country. It is a parish church of England founded in the 7th century.
Pulteney bridge crosses the River Avon in Bath. Completed by 1774, and connected the city with the land of the Pulteney family which they wished to develop. It is a grade 1 listed building.
