Pancake Day at Ashfield Court

Residents of Ashfield Court Care Home had a great afternoon flipping pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. We asked our residents how they’d like their pancakes and a few said they’d like to have a try at making their own. 

Our Chef thought it was a great idea and had the residents mix the batter and he cooked the pancakes for them but let them have some pancake fun by flipping the pancakes. There was a few which ended up on the floor but the residents had a great time and they certainly worked up an appetite ready for tea time when they enjoyed pancakes and added some traditional toppings like jam, lemon, sugar and syrup.
