National Teddy Bear Day
For National Teddy Bear Day, as a home we decided to donate three brand new teddy bears to a local children's hospital. Before we could do this, we needed to give these wonderful bears a name!
Everybody had a chance to meet and greet our teddy bears and choose a name for them. We had an abundance of choices; from Rupert and Marmalade, to Dominique and Bernie - the names were put into a hat and the winner drawn out. Our winning names were Jimmy Greaves (named after a favourite football player), Sammy (named after a Great Dane one lady had growing up), and Pooh Bear (just, because!).
The teddy bears brought joy to all and everyone was happy to be able to be doing something for a good cause.
