National Day Of Reflection

Here at Thorntree Mews we wanted to do something to take part in the National Day of Reflection and had a sign created and tied to the railing in yellow ribbon to symbolise a year since the first lockdown. Residents discussed the reasons for having this day and taking part and it was a great opportunity for us all to talk through the crazy year we have lived through and how tough it has been at times but also how thankful for the care they have received and for the protection against Covid 19 in the home. We held a minutes silence at 12 noon to remember family and friends who have lost loved ones.
