Hearts for Schools Project

The residents at Allingham House have got involved in the project ‘Hearts for Schools’ last week. In this project residents from care homes write messages to children from nurseries and schools close to them. In our case, the children from the nursery next door invited us to join them from our garden. The children introduced themselves to the residents and after that we were singing nursery songs together like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star or Insy Winsy Spider. The children and the residents really enjoyed the session. Finally we exchanged the Christmas messages and drawings with the children.
