Go Karting Experience

Residents from Parksprings Care Home in Motherwell enjoyed an awesome day at The Experience in Glasgow where they went Go Karting in electric Go Karts reaching speeds of 45 mph.

Professional drivers drove our speed hungry ladies around in style. Margaret who has just celebrated her 100th birthday said "It was an amazing experience and one i never in my dreams thought I would be able to do."

Francis called 'Speedy Gonzales' said "The speed was incredible and I just wanted to go faster and smiled at every bump."

Road Runner Helen was the lady who used to ride on a motorbike in her younger days and wanted a speedy experience and was so glad she had achieved it. Helen cheered with delight when she crossed the finish line.

Words can’t describe how much fun the ladies had and just how brilliant they all were. Congratulations ladies you all deserve gold for being so amazing and brave. Thank you to the staff at The Experience for a wonderful job and for helping us make our residents dreams come true.
