Fresh Berries

Today we enjoyed some fresh berries and talked about fond memories of picking berries when they were younger. They talked about sneakily eating berries when they were meant to collect a whole basket full, and what they made with the berries once they were picked. One resident laughed out loud recalling a memory of a friend falling into a blackberry bush when trying to pick them. It was amazing to see and hear these stories of love and happiness. The residents were then offered a berry word search which some were very keen to try. Others just enjoyed the juicy, sweet flavours of the berry.
