Drive Through at Deepdene

What a fantastic turn out for our Drive Through Coffee and Cake, the chef had been very busy making fairy cakes iced with an edible butterfly.  During few weeks we have been out to visit the local businesses, shops and emergency services inviting them to the Drive Through. 
After all the storms in the last few days we were blessed with blue skies.
We had the local district nurses, pharmacy team, residents, couriers, people on the way to the gym and we were honoured that the local fire brigade joined us for coffee and cakes. They were great fun, we have lots of photos to show our residents and they have offered to come in and to talk to us about, fire health and safety in the future.
All the cakes were eaten, and we had a free prize draw the prize being a hamper with a celebration cake and lots of different teas and coffees!
