Diwali Celebrations

This year Knights Court celebrated Diwali in style!  Diwali or Deepavali is one of the biggest and auspicious festivals celebrated by Hindus all around the globe. The festival of lights signifies peace and joy, the victory of good over evil, and light over darkness every day. It is one of the most symbolic Hindu festivals celebrate.

The people living with us at Knights Court were entertained by a beautiful Bollywood dancer named Bhavini, who not only performed an elegant Bollywood dance for everyone, but also got them involved in an interactive dance workshop. Our residents and their relatives really enjoyed joining in with the chair based Bollywood dance moves which ensured everyone could participate.

All in all it was a very enjoyable day with everyone indulging in mouth watering Indian delicacies & tasty sweets.
