Cranleigh Carnival

The Cranleigh Carnival managed by The Lions Club, was as an enormous success within our local community. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to display our lovely home, together with arts and crafts, prepared by our residents to raise money for Alzheimer’s. Our Cedar Court stall always attracts the attention of the locals, old and young, we had something for everyone on our charity fund raising stand.

We managed to distribute over 250 goody bags and brochures to members in our community.

It was a fantastic day, the weather was extremely good to us, I am pleased to announce that we raised £171 towards our chosen charity ‘The Alzheimer’s Society’, well done to all.

A big thank you to Kathryn, Laura, and Rosa for supporting me with the event. One of our residents’ daughters was so keen to win a prize created by her mother, (unbelievably the ticket she selected one could not make up such a story!) the lucky dip prize happened to be her mother’s own creation! The delight on her face was a real tonic.
