Birch Heath Lodge Afternoon Tea Parties

Nestled in a sleepy, yet oh so beautiful village in the Cheshire countryside, is Birch Heath Lodge, Christleton. We don’t let a pandemic stop us having fun so, every few weeks, we have an afternoon party. This is time for the residents and staff to relax and enjoy each other’s company and sing our hearts out.  There is always lots of laughter, clapping and swinging our pants. 

Some residents are shy and a little reluctant to join in, but after a few songs, everyone is belting those classics out!  It’s quite a workout too, foot tapping and arm swaying. Just enough to get an appetite for the afternoon tea that Chef Michael has lovingly made for everyone. Today's special was fresh cream pastries ….. mmmm. We’ve had lots of Elvis, The Beatles, Glen Campbell, Tony Christie and a bit of Dino! 

Making memories and laughter help us to bond at Birch Heath Lodge. We may not be the biggest home in Chester, but we have boutique glamour and just a little bit of individual magic.
