Anniversary Celebrations

Team Nights Court were bursting with excitement on Thursday 28th January. Our favourite Knights court couple Mrs and Mrs V were celebrating their 65th Wedding Anniversary. The Activities team had to think outside the box. Wanting to make it a very special day for our very own Posh & Becks, despite it being lockdown Raj and Julie came up with the idea of converting our sensory room into a restaurant setting where we placed a table and laid it with our finest dinner set and set it up so that Mr & Mrs V could enjoy a 3 course candle lit lunch of their favourite food and drink. We spruced up the husband and wife in smart attire & they looked absolutely stunning. They spent the afternoon in our makeshift restaurant where we set up a table surrounded by lights as they enjoyed a romantic candle lit lunch whilst gazing into each other’s eyes, listing to their favourite classical music. After their romantic lunch date they made their way into the lounge where they exchanged presents and cut their favourite Black Forest gateaux cake and devoured it with afternoon tea alongside fellow residents. A beautiful occasion celebrated in style and grace. One which we will not forget in a long while!
