Alpacas Visit for Animal Therapy

Norwich taken over with Alpaca love.

Yesterday, our home had some very special visitors - Alpacas! These fluffy and friendly animals came as part of our animal therapy session. Both residents and staff were thrilled to meet them. Everyone had the chance to pet the alpacas and feel their incredibly soft fur. We learned many fascinating facts about these gentle creatures. For example, alpacas communicate with each other through a series of hums and body language.

They are herbivores and enjoy eating grass and hay. The alpacas were very calm and gentle, which made everyone feel relaxed and happy. Some residents even said that spending time with the alpacas brought back fond memories of their childhoods on farms. The staff also enjoyed the break from their routine and the chance to bond with the residents over this unique experience. It was an unforgettable day that brought smiles to all our faces. We can't wait to have the alpacas visit us again soon!
