Allingham's Week

The last week, the residents could go in the garden to enjoy the beautiful view of the snow, also we had time to discover the foot prints of two of our "friends", two beautiful foxes that used to visit us from time to time and to make the first snowman of the season.

Futhermore, the residents joined to the celebration of Burns Night, when we remembered the figures of the poet Robert Burns. The residents enjoyed reading and colouring an illustrated poem of Robert Burn, A Red, Red Rose.

Finally, the residents received the last postcards written from Thorntree Mews Care Home. The residents started to write letters to the residents of this Scottish Care Home during the first lockdown and since then we receive postcards and written letters from them. The residents enjoyed reading and replying to their Scottish pen pals.
