Abingdon Flower Club

As we move into Autumn, and experience cooler temperatures outside, it’s a lot harder to get our fix of the outdoors environment. Fortunately, we have built a relationship with ‘Abingdon Flower Club’ who help to run a flower arranging session with those who live here.

Working with a floral foam cylinder, we are provided with a large array of flowers and shrubs which we can choose from to build our floral arrangements, with the help and guidance of the wonderful florist, Christine. Many enjoyed the vibrant colours. Others relished on trimming the stems to the perfect length, whilst we all agreed that the smell of ‘Remembrance Rosemary’ was simply divine!

This was enjoyed by those who have lots of experience tending to their own gardens, yet also by those who wanted to try their hand at something new! We are looking forward to welcoming the flower club back for our Christmas session.
