100th Birthday Celebrations at Manorhey

Gladys celebrated her 100th birthday with us at Manorhey. The staff decorated her room with balloons, all in matching colours and we had a cake made and for her which was shared out with all residents, at the afternoon tea we held on the floor Gladys lives. 

Gladys received a number of bouquets of flowers in beautiful colours, which we showed her and held them to her so she could smell them, Gladys smiled and heard all the staff sing Happy Birthday to her. Later that day Gladys received her telegram from the Queen which the staff read out to her and now holds pride place on her bedside table. All the staff and residents wished her a very Happy Birthday.
