100th Birthday Celebrations

The very wonderful Mrs Marjorie Sheehy celebrated her 100th birthday recently and everyone at Eltandia joined together in celebrating this momentous day.

Marjorie, who spent many years working in the local theatre at Wimbledon, showed off her great elegance and sense of style for the occasion, dressed in a beautiful pink outfit and contrasting fascinator.

Our local GP’s and several local community health workers joined with Eltandia residents and staff to enjoy a sumptuous celebration buffet prepared by our hospitality team, and toasted best wishes to Marjorie on her 100th birthday with a chilled glass of Eltandia house punch.

The highlight of the day was for Marjorie to open her special birthday greetings card received from Her Majesty the Queen, wishing her very many happy returns and good wishes on this very special day.
