Veteran mental health nurse, Joby Raju, has been appointed as Manager of Cavendish Court care home, Cheshire, with a pledge to enhance the home’s person-centered approach to health and well-being.
A registered mental health nurse of 27 years, Joby Raju, is looking to develop Cavendish Court, a care home located in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, into a UK leader in person-centered, mindfulness-focused care. Joby joins a home where person-centered care is already an integral part of its ethos with several teams devoted to ensuring this. From a dedicated ‘lifestyle team’, which plans and leads activities to the likes and preferences of each resident, care and nurse teams that are available 24/7, to a ‘hospitality team’ which looks after residents’ additional needs for comfortable and happy everyday living. Joby now aims to use his vast experience as a mental health nurse to bolster the services of these teams to become among the best in the country.

Before his appointment at Cavendish Court, Joby worked for 13 years in various management roles in different care settings across the country.
