I have been really impressed with the care and attention given to understanding and meeting my mum’s needs. Mum's well being has improved so much since being at Monread, she has regained her appetite, her mobility is improving and she is much less anxious. This is testament to the genuine desire to care and the professionalism displayed by the carers, nurses, lifestyle team, domestic, kitchen and reception staff who all work tirelessly to ensure a warm, comfortable, clean, safe and fun environment for the residents and their families.

"My mum stayed for two weeks respite as my dad was in hospital. All the staff were so kind, lovely and caring and looked after her so well. The Community Liaison Coordinator came for the initial assessment and also made sure she was at the care home when mum arrived for her stay which was great. My mum remembered her so felt more comfortable about being left. Overall I was so happy with the care home and I would highly recommend it."

"Since moving into Monread, my mum seems a lot happier. She is more involved with daily activities instead of staying in her room all the time. I also find it so much easier to phone her everyday and love our video calls, which we did not get from her last care home.
