Tips For The Heat

As we have an adverse weather warning the heat is getting to many of us, however we remain positive and continue to smile. Keep a thought to the people working in heat.

There are things you can do to help:

1. Keep curtains closed and lights off when possible,

2. Wear a sun hat and sun lotion when out and about,

3. Wet wipes and cold flannels across the back of your neck

4. Keep your fluid intake high!

Top tips for hydrating foods:

1. Cucumber - contains about 96% water

2. Iceberg Lettuce is about 96% water also

3. Celery is 95% water - learn to love it 🙂

4. Melon, Watermelon, Strawberries and Tomatoes are all high in water content

5. Treat yourself to a cheeky ice lolly too 😇
