Animal Visitors

The people who live with us were delighted to welcome Zante fox and friends to the home with their owner Steve. 

We met the gorgeous TJ his white rat, Valentine the Dove, Freddy the corn snake and Sapphire the barn owl before the star of the show Zante the fox. 

Such a wonderful visit and our residents loved meeting all of Steve’s animals, many wanting to keep them.

TJ the rat was so loving and snuggly not at all what you’d imagine of a rat.  Stroking a fox (the only fox that you can do that with in the whole of the UK) was awesome! The snake was slippery and tickly with his tongue as he sniffed us. The dove and owl were so soft and loved strokes.

Did you know, foxes are like a dog, but don’t have their own sound so they mimic others. Zante can bark like a dog, tries to quack like a duck and purrs like a cat. He also has webbed feet as foxes are some of the best swimmers but dislike water?
